This programme is for students whose difficulty is structural rather than a simple gap: specific learning differences such as dyslexia, dyscalculia or ADHD, students learning in a second language, and students returning after a long absence through illness or a change of school.
Sessions are individual, usually shorter and more frequent, and built around multisensory methods, explicit structure and heavy use of overlearning. We are a tutoring practice, not a clinical service, so we work from existing assessments and school plans rather than diagnosing, and we say clearly when a family should be talking to a specialist instead.

Forty-five minute sessions two or three times a week usually outperform one long weekly block for attention and retention.
Every session follows the same predictable shape, which removes a layer of cognitive load before the teaching even starts.
Material is deliberately revisited well past the point of first success, because fragile knowledge disappears under exam pressure.
We follow the accommodations and targets already agreed with the school, rather than running a parallel and contradictory programme.
Regular conversations with parents about what is transferring to the classroom and what needs adjusting.
A full conversation about history, existing assessments, school arrangements and what has helped or failed before.
Matched to a tutor with direct experience of this profile. Patience and specific training matter more than subject seniority here.
A plan built from short achievable steps, with more frequent shorter sessions and deliberate repetition.
Frequent reviews with the family, including a clear recommendation if a specialist assessment would serve the student better than tutoring.
Material taught through a channel that actually reaches the student
A predictable routine that lowers anxiety before learning starts
Knowledge that holds under pressure rather than fading
A consistent approach between home, school and sessions

No. We are an educational service, not a clinical one, and we do not carry out or issue diagnostic assessments. We work alongside existing reports and school plans, and where a family has concerns but no assessment we will say plainly that speaking to the school or an educational psychologist should come first.
Not at all. Many families come to us while an assessment is still pending or was never pursued. Adapted teaching methods help a great many students regardless of whether a label has been attached to the difficulty.
Yes, and we prefer to. If accommodations and targets have already been agreed, we follow them. Consistency between the classroom, home and the tutoring session is one of the strongest predictors of whether progress holds.
These programmes are often combined. Many families run one alongside another, or move between them as the year progresses.
A single tutor, a single student, and a plan written around one person. The fastest way to close a specific gap.
