Preparation starts with a full-length timed diagnostic under realistic conditions, scored by section and by question type. That report is the plan. Without it, preparation becomes a slow re-teach of the entire syllabus, most of which the student already knows.
From there the work splits into three parts: content the student genuinely does not know, technique for the question types they lose points on, and pacing under time pressure. Sessions alternate between teaching and timed practice, with a full mock paper roughly every three weeks so progress is measured rather than assumed.
Book a free consultationA complete timed paper under realistic conditions before any teaching begins, scored down to question type and topic.
We work backwards from the target score to identify which sections carry the most available points for this particular student.
Structured practice on working speed, question triage and when to leave a question rather than lose four minutes to it.
Regular full papers under timed conditions, each one scored and compared against the previous attempt.
Preparation for the day itself: routine, materials, breaks, and what to do when the first question is one you cannot answer.
After every mock you receive the section breakdown, the trend line and a plain assessment of whether the target is realistic.
We work back from the test date. Twelve weeks allows a full programme, six weeks means prioritising ruthlessly, and we will tell you which one you are in.
A complete timed paper, scored by section and question type. This produces the plan rather than confirming a guess.
Weekly sessions that alternate teaching with timed practice, weighted towards the sections holding the most available points.
Full papers every three weeks, each one analysed, with a final week focused on routine, rest and test day logistics.
A measured starting score instead of an estimate
Points recovered from technique, not only from new content
A student who finishes the paper inside the time limit
A realistic, evidence-based view of the achievable score

None, and you should be sceptical of anyone who names a number before seeing a diagnostic. Point gains depend on the starting score, the time available and how much practice happens between sessions. What we will do is show you the diagnostic, tell you honestly whether your target looks reachable in the time you have, and track the trend openly at every mock.
Twelve to sixteen weeks before the test date is comfortable for a full programme. Six to eight weeks is workable if the focus narrows to the highest-yield sections. Under four weeks we will normally recommend a short technique and pacing package rather than pretending content can be rebuilt.
Yes. AP subject examinations, PSAT, SSAT and ISEE entrance tests and state assessments all run on the same structure: diagnostic first, then content, technique and pacing, with timed mocks throughout.
These programmes are often combined. Many families run one alongside another, or move between them as the year progresses.
A single tutor, a single student, and a plan written around one person. The fastest way to close a specific gap.
